The British model is best known for allegedly cheating on Freddie Ljungberg with Kieran Richardson. In December 2006, the News of the World uncovered that Atanes allegedly two-timed Ljungberg with Manchester United player, Kieran Richardson. Richardson took Atanes to a charity ball in November 2006 and was pictured with Ljungberg a month prior. There was buzz all over the internet that she cheated on Freddie despite not being an official couple.
In early 2007, British tabloids claimed Ljungberg and Atanes kissed and made up. However, Atanes was still being labeled as Richardson`s WAG. She was even featured in Nuts Magazine as his girlfriend.
Little was heard from Atanes, other than what she left on her now defunct myspace page. She claimed to be living in LA and was releasing a single with her girl band, Pheenixx (renamed Fenix) as of late 2007 until early 2008. However, she was dropped from the group. Most of 2007, Atanes was under the radar until The People reported on December 2007 that she was the new girlfriend of Jermaine Pennant. At the time, Pennant was dating Jennifer Metcalfe, and in true football fashion; Metcalfe and Pennant broke up in January of 2008.
In March of 2008, she appeared on Wedding TV`s Wag`s World and claiming she was in a relationship with Ljungberg for a year and a half.Despite this, Ljungberg never acknowledge the relationship and still doesn`t.
When Ljungberg left West Ham, she claimed to still be in a relationship with Ljungberg despite Ljungberg making it very clear he was a single boy. He was seen out in London and New York cavorting with Natalie Imbruglia and Elissa Sursara. In an interview following his signing to Seattle Sounders, Ljungberg stated he was single, putting to rest whether or not he was with Atanes.
However, tn late 2009, Atanes asserted via her twitter and facebook accounts she was still with Ljungberg despite living on two separate continents. Also, she admitted via twitter she was involved with Darren Bent at one point as well as Jermaine Pennant and Kieran Richardson. Other rumored romances with English Premier League players have surfaced since then.
Atanes is a former Miss Brighton contestants in which she placed 4th in 2007. She alleges she was scouted and represented by Storm despite never being on their books.
Atanes is mostly a catalog model who has been featured on sites such as Charas. She has also been featured in a Head and Shoulders advert and DFS Sofa ad in England as well as a v6 commercial in Scandinavia. She has been featured nude in Mens Health, Ultra Tone ad, and the News of the World. She has also been featured in other men`s magazine including Nuts. She was also the face of Sugagloss Sex Toys.
Atanes hopes to become an actress in the near future.
