Andrew "Andy" Daly (born April 15, 1971) is an American actor, comedian and writer best known for playing Principal Terrence Cutler in the HBO comedy series Eastbound & Down.

Andy Daly was born in New York, raised in New Jersey and graduated from Ithaca College. He studied longform improvisation at New York`s Upright Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and performed in numerous shows there, including Assscat and The Real Real World. He is also a member of the longform ensemble "The Swarm" which has been performing at the UCB Theater since 1999. Daly also appeared at the 1999 Aspen Comedy Festival as one-half of the sketch duo "The Two Andys". TV work not mentioned by IMDB: sketch appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman", " The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Late Night with Conan O`Brien" (many times) as well as animation voices for "Saturday Night Live" and "TV Funhouse". Daly resides in Los Angeles with his wife and their two dogs.
