Lee Byung-hun (Korean: ; born July 12, 1970) is a South Korean actor, singer and model. He achieved wider fame after starring in the television dramas Iris (2009), All In (2003) and Beautiful Days (2001). He is also known for his starring roles in Joint Security Area (2000), A Bittersweet Life (2005), The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008) and I Saw the Devil (2010). He has received multiple awards and nominations throughout his career.

Family Byung Hun was born on the 12-July-1970. He is a cancer with a blood type of O. For majority, a cancer with blood type O is considered as a "Self-Defensive" people .hey do possess strongly believe in defensive on their own self, moreover, they also have enormous protective and defensive sense towards their families and friends. Byung Hun`s father passed away while he was shooting " Harmonium in my memory" at 1997. Byung Hun is living with his mother, his younger sister (8 years old younger than Byung Hun), and with his grandparents who he has recently picked up from the United States in order to take care of them! His sister - Lee Eun Hee is a beautiful and charming lady! She used to participate in the Miss Korea beauty contest during 1996 and she was the 1st runner up for the contest during that time! Educational Background Byung Hun was major in French while he was studying at HanYang University. This exposed Byung Hun has talented in language since then. At June 2002, while he was in Taiwan for the promotional of the movie - "Joint Security Area", he used mandarin to introduce himself during the press conference. Everyone was amazed and strongly impressed by his language talented cos he seems that he has no foreign accent at all. After his graduation from Han Yang University, he made an important step by going to Joongang University for studying in Theater and Cinematography. This really acted as stimulator for Byung Hun`s confidence towards his career in acting and marked as a milestone for Byung Hun as well. Career In 1991, Byung Hun made his first attempt in acting throughout the 14th annual public audition which held by Korea Broadcast System. He took parts in several TV dramas and movies afterward but he still had no recognization at all amongst majority. However, he did not feel disappointed towards his career, inversely, he even tried harder than before in order to get recognition by public. At 1999, people got known of him more comprehensively through "Harmonium In My Memory" and "Joint Security Area" which was described as his well-known movie eventhough the spotlight of this movie mainly spotted on other co-starring actor. Finally, his acting career achieved successfully at the "Bunjee Jumping Of Their Own", his acting was eventually applauded and recognized by the majority. In 2002, "Joongdok" was predicted as other well-known movie for Byung Hun after the "Bunjee Jumping Of Their Own". Interest Byung Hun is very keen on sports. His varieties include swimming, taekwondo, ski boarding, armwrestling, golfing and snorkeling. Besides sports, travelling is his other interest. He used to travelling alone to Egypt for about three days and he did really enjoyed this remarkable and unforgettable trip! Friendship Almost everyone knows Sung Seung Hun is Byung Hun`s best friend. This friendship established in related to the shooting of "Beautiful my lady". They got along well by then. They share most of the times together by playing online games, watching DVDs, playing golf and hanging around. Sung Seung Hun respects Byung Hun very much because he treat Byung Hun as his elder brother. Habit Byung Hun claimed himself as an impatience person. For instance, if he speaks something to you once and you would like him to say it twice, he is still fine. However, if you wanted him to say for the third time, then he will definitely get annoyed. He likes causal wear a lot such as T-Shirt, Jeans and a pair of sneaker. As black is his favourite colur, so most of his clothes are in this colour-tone. Besides, he likes to wear and make collections of any kid of caps, such as baseball style and fashionable one. Furthermore, whenever he feels nervous, he will touch his nose unconsciously.
