Candice Night (born May 8, 1971) is an American vocalist/songwriter and the wife of guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. She is the lead singer, multi-instrumentalist, and lyricist for the renaissance-themed project, Blackmore's Night since its origins in 1997.

Candice Night (born May 8, 1971) is an American vocalist/lyricist and the wife of hard rock guitarist, Ritchie Blackmore. She is now the lead singer, multi- instrumentalist and lyricist for Blackmore`s renaissance-influenced project, Blackmore`s Night since 1997. She was born as Candice Lauren Isralow in Hauppauge, Long Island, New York. At 12 years old Candice began modeling. She did everything from commercials to print ads, promotions to trade shows until her 20`s. She met Ritchie Blackmore on a soccer field in 1989, and sang backing vocals for Deep Purple in 1993; and also did backing vocals on Stranger in Us All, the CD by Blackmore`s band Rainbow, as well as helping to write four other songs on the aforementioned album. She was later asked to write lyrics for most songs for the first Blackmore`s Night album Shadow of the Moon. Since then, she has been awarded several gold albums and other awards for the music of Blackmore`s Night as well as Rainbow, and has charted internationally with her music. With their current release, Secret Voyage, the album entered at #1 on the New Age Billboard Charts and stayed there for 4 weeks before holding on in the top 10 for an additional 14 weeks. She continues to widen her musical horizons, performing both on CDs and live in concert, not only writing lyrics and singing, but playing medieval instruments: shawm, cornamuse, rauschpfeife, pennywhistle, and chanters. Candice Night also sang in Helloween`s "Light the Universe" song from their "Keeper of the Seven Keys - The Legacy" album. As well as the part of Oria in the rock opera Story of Aina with Sass Jordan, Sascha Paeth and Glenn Hughes. She also sang 3 songs on the Beto Vázquez album "Infinity" with Tarja Turunen from Nightwish and Sabine Edelsbacher from Edenbridge. The Blackmore`s Night song "Old Mill Inn" was recently heard in Jim Carrey`s December 2008 blockbuster film "Yes Man". She got married to Ritchie Blackmore on October 5th, 2008, to whom she was engaged since 1994. She is due to be featured in the horror movie Pray For Light with Geoff Tate, lead vocalist of Queensr˙che, in the near future. Night has had many "firsts" in her illustrious career. She was the 1st woman to ever grace the cover of Japan`s Burn! magazine- followed by Liv Tyler. She was the 1st woman to ever be on Japan magazine`s Metallion`s cover. She was the 1st human to ever be on Japanese cover of "Cat Diary". She also was the 1st woman to ever be on the cover of 22nd Century Rock Magazine in the USA. She also appears on the interactive video screens throughout the USA and Japan in the theme park Magiquest as both Princes Amora and Princess Candice. These parks now have a cooperation throughout the USA through Great Wolf Lodges as well as their home base in Myrtle Beach, SC. Candice can be seen on the screens throughout all these places. She was also the Faerie Queen for Faerie Magazine for 2 years gracing the cover of Faerie Magazine in Spring 2007 and making appearances and performing at the Faerie Festivals throughout the USA. Candice is also very well known for her charitable contributions towards animals. Throughout the 11 years of the existence of Blackmore`s Night, the band has donated enough funds for the WWF to plant 6,000 fruit trees in Borneo for the orangutan habitat; they have donated to the Save the Bats in Berlin; Save the Badgers in England; local animal charities throughout the USA including an annual invitation only charity show in which all proceeds go directly to Save A Pet, Little Shelter, Best Friends and North Shore Animal League. They have also donated portions of proceeds of cd sales to the Red Cross to aid the flood victims in Eastern Europe; donated to CO2OL to plant trees in Panama to undo the pollution that their concerts may generate; donated to UNICEF and constantly send items needed to our soldiers fighting for us so we have the freedom to live as we do here in the USA.
