Catya "Cat" Sassoon (September 3, 1968;� January 1, 2002) was an American model and actress.

Catya Sassoon was the eldest of Four Children born to Vidal Sassoon British Hairstylist and his Wife,Actress Beverly Adams. At 13 Catya was a rebellious 13 year old who Pierced her noise and dyed her hair Purple. At age 14 She dropped out Of school and and began modeling. At age 15 she married Luca Scalisi, he was the son of an Italian Film Producer. The marriage did'nt last Long. Catya made her film debut in the 1985 movie, "Tuff Turf". That same year she left for New York to pursue a Modeling career with Prestige Agency and became a model who did appear on the covers of Seventeen and Brides. By age 21 she was battling a drug problem and went to rehab. At 22 she was one year drug free so she began acting again and appeared in an episode of Hardball. She also appeared in Bloodfist IV: Die Trying and also Dance With Death. In 1993 she land a lead role in the Roger Corman martial Arts film, "Angelfist",directed by Cirio H. Santiago. Catya last screen appearance was in 1995 action Film, "Bloodfist VI: Ground Zero. Catya Sassoon was also the Lead singer of an Female Group called Feline Force. She also married For the second time to Joe Meyers. The couple had their first child,a son they named London,in 1995. In 2000 ,she gave birth to twin girls that they named Mycca and Skye. On New Years's Eve 2001,Sassoon and her Husband attended a New Years Party at a friend's Home. She complained of not feeling well, left the party and went home to her Hollywood hills home. That Next morning,Sassoon Husband checked on her and found her dead. Sassoon had a history of High blood pressure. Her Family believed her death to be a Heart Attack. Her autopsy report revealed that Sassoon dies of a heart attack bought on by an overdose of hydromorphone and cocaine. She was 33yrs old. She is buried in Eden Memorial Park Cemetery in Mission Hills, California.
