Christopher Lee Kattan (born October 19, 1970) is an American actor/comedian, best known for his work on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Kattan was born in Sherman Oaks, California. His father, Kip King (né Jerome C. Kattan), is an actor and voice actor who appeared on the series Reno 911! as Larrie Plum. His mother, Hajnalka E. Biro, was in Playboy in the 1960s. His father is of Iraqi Jewish descent and his mother is a Hungarian-born Buddhist. The two divorced when Kattan was a toddler and his mother later married Dr. Marc Joslyn. Kattan lived on Bainbridge Island, Washington where he attended Bainbridge High School, and graduated in 1989. He has a half-brother named Andrew Joslyn who resides in the Northwest, in Seattle, Washington, and is 12 years younger than Kattan. Kattan married model Sunshine Tutt on June 28, 2008, in California after proposing to her at her grandparents` home in Gainesville, Texas on Christmas Eve 2006. Kattan`s publicist told E! News on August 19, 2008 that the couple had separated but had no plans for divorce. However, on August 22, 2008, Kattan filed for legal separation from his wife, claiming that the couple separated on August 10.
