Dayle Hinman (born September 21, 1952) is a retired FBI-trained criminal profiler. She has starred in a television series on TruTV (formerly known as CourtTV), Body of Evidence: From the case files of Dayle Hinman, documenting some of the cases she was assigned to while working as a Special Agent at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), since December, 2002. Twelve of the episodes were packaged as a DVD "The Best of Court TV: Body of Evidence".

Dayle Hinman (born September 21, 1952) is a retired FBI-trained criminal profiler. She has a television series on TruTV (formerly known as CourtTV), Body of Evidence: From the case files of Dayle Hinman, documenting some of the cases she was assigned to while working at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Born in Connecticut, Hinman`s family moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in 1961, where she graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School. She has an older sister, Wendy, and two younger brothers, Eric and Jeff. She has a bachelor`s degree from Florida State University in criminology. She had a one year fellowship at the FBI Behavorial Sciences unit and was one of the first people there to be trained in forensic profiling under John E. Douglas. Special Agent Hinman, now retired, is one of only a handful of women in the profession. She has worked on several high profile cases, including those of Ted Bundy, O.J. Simpson, and Aileen Wournos.
