The actor/singer Drake Bell was born on June 27, 1986, in Orange County, Califorina. He started acting at the age of five and began playing guitar at the age of 13. After appearing in a couple of Nickelodeon series, Drake hit the big time with his own show called "The Drake and Josh Show" in 2004. His guest-starring credits include "Seinfeld," "The Drew Carey Show," "The Pretender" along with "Home Improvement." He also appeared several times on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. During the filming of his movie "Chasing Destiny," co-star and lead singer of The Who, Roger Daltrey, gave Drake private Guitar lessons.
A performer who carries equal weight in the twin arenas of pop recording and film and television acting, Drake Bell first staked out a career as an actor, signing for his premiere small-screen commercial at age five, in the early `90s. Bell commenced A-list film roles by 1996, when he made a memorable impression as a sports figure`s son who bitterly curses agent Tom Cruise in Cameron Crowe`s drama Jerry Maguire. Following small guest turns on such blockbuster series as The Drew Carey Show (1997) and Seinfeld (1998), Bell joined the cast of the Nickelodeon variety series The Amanda Show (1999-2002), as a regular member of the program`s resident sketch comedy ensemble. In 2002, the show took its final bow, but Bell and co-star Josh Peck received their own spin-off sitcom, also on Nickelodeon: Drake & Josh (2004).

Jared Drake Bell (born June 27, 1986), better known as Drake Bell, is an American actor, comedian, musician, singer-songwriter, voice actor, record producer, and occasional television director. After beginning his career as a child star in the late 1990s and early 2000s (decade), he appeared on The Amanda Show and became well-known among young audiences for his role on the series Drake & Josh while playing Drake Parker. As of 2010, Drake Bell remains one of Nickelodeon's most popular stars ever and has won nine Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. His latest film role will be "A Fairly Odd Christmas," on Nickelodeon; he is also the voice of Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD. Bell is commonly associated with his real-life best friend Josh Peck, who co-starred with him in The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh.
