Profile Bio Text
Dylan Patton was born in 1992 in Denton, Texas, to David a banker and Deborah Patton a professional photographer. He has one younger brother, Julian (born 1993), and he currently resides in Los Angeles with his family. He graduated high school early in order to continue his work as an actor.
Dylan started modeling around the age of 7 and his natural ease in front of the camera lead him into doing various commercial roles, including one for Subaru, in the Dallas, Texas area. In the spring of 2002, Dylan’s agent received a call from a producer who was casting a television pilot called “Our Family”. The casting director had seen Dylan’s pictures and resume on a website and wanted him to read for a part in the pilot. After six callbacks Dylan landed the role of Dakota Manning in “Our Family”. Although the pilot was not picked up, it gave Dylan his first real experience in front of the camera. At the beginning of 2003, he won the role of Clay Thomas in Crab Orchard (2004), a post 9/11 drama co-starring Ed Asner and Judge Reinhold. The film was featured at the Sante Fe Film Festival in July 2005 and won finalist and the gold directors award at the International Family Film Festival, in September 2005. In December 2004, he filmed Paradise Texas with Meredith Baxter and Timothy Bottoms. Dylan headed out to L.A. in February for the 2005 pilot season where he landed a guest role in the Disney sitcom "That`s So Raven!" He played both Justin Banks a teen idol who plays "Ricky" as the character for the episode "Goin Hollywood!" and the show called "Better Days". In November 2005 Dylan booked a role in a short independent film called "O` Best Beloved, Six Honest Men" playing Oliver Murphy.
