He has the distinction of having been married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, and Connie Stevens. His divorce from his first wife, Debbie Reynolds, to marry his best friend`s widow, Elizabeth Taylor, garnered scandalously unwelcome publicity at the time.
