Gia Johnson is a British fashion model born in 1986. She is a British-Punjabi. Gia grew up in Richmond, Southwest London, with her mother, Kay, a Lottie Berk method Pilates teacher. Her father is originally from Kenya. Gia as scouted at 15 years old on Kings Road in London. She signed to FM Model Management where she modeled while attending high school. Gia finished her A-levels in English literature, theatre studies, performing studies and dance at the Arts Educational Schools, London. She spent her gap year modeling in New York with her then boyfriend who was also a model. Gia eventually signed to Storm Models in London. However, she is now with Profile Model Management in London. In addition, to that she is represented by Modelwerk in Hamburg, Seeds Models in Berlin, Louisa Models in Munich, New Models in Belgium, Option in Switzerland, Anima Creatives in India, Race Model Management in New York, Karin Models in Paris, and NBPeople in Greece. Gia has graced the covers of Indian Vogue, Verve, Absolut Malaga, and Femina. She is also a long running model for British Clothing Catalogue ASOS. Gia has also done ads for Clinque, Emyce, Ganjam, Lynx, Lavazza Coffee, Levi Jeans, Persona, Fields Watches, Redken, Pantene, Kerstastes Hair Products, Frontier, Monisha Jaising and Splenda. In addition to her print work, Gia has appeared in numerous editorials for Vogue, Grazia, Femina, GQ, and Elle. As a result, Gia has worked with noted fashion photographers Ellen von Unwerth, Rankin, and Dan Smith. Gia has walked the runways in New York, Paris, Lakme Fashion Week, and Wills Fashion Week. Gia was GQ`s Woman of the Month. She has also taken part of the King Fischer Calender.
