Heather Blaine Mitts (born June 9, 1978 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American soccer player. Mitts is a defender for the United States Women`s National Soccer Team. She played soccer in high school for St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio and in college for the University of Florida, becoming an All-American, and led the team to a national title in her junior year (1998). Mitts played for the Philadelphia Charge, a team in the Women`s United Soccer Association. She was also part of the gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic soccer team in 2004 and the U.S. team that finished 2nd in the 2006 Algarve Cup. In 2004, Mitts was voted as "Hottest Female Athlete" by the users of ESPN.com. She is also a sideline reporter for ESPN2 and ABC`s coverage of Major League Soccer, and is a columnist for ESPN Soccernet. On May 12, 2007, Mitts tore her ACL in an international friendly with Canada. This injury put Mitts out of contention for the Women`s World Cup in the fall of 2007. On June 23, 2008, Mitts was named on the 18-player US roster for the 2008 Olympics. Heather Mitts opens a female soccer camp each year in Cincinnati,Ohio. Heather dated Philadelphia Phillies slugger Pat Burrell in 2001 and 2002. She then dated Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins quarterback A.J. Feeley for a five-year period, from 2002 to 2007. They broke up in March 2007 no engagement and no upcoming marriage Mitts also dated tennis player James Blake.

Heather Blaine Mitts Feeley (born June 9, 1978) is an American professional soccer player who is a defender in the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league. Mitts played college soccer for the University of Florida, and thereafter, she has played professionally for the Philadelphia Charge, Boston Breakers and Philadelphia Independence of WPS. She is also a member of the United States women's national soccer team, and is a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
