Karin Inger Monica Nilsson (born May 4th, 1959 in Kisa) is a Swedish actress. She was well known for her portrayal of Pippi Longstocking on a Swedish television series during 1969, compiled to a film 1973, and two films 1970. She currently works as a secretary in Stockholm, occasionally taking small stage roles. In 2000 the Swiss director Xavier Koller convinced her to take a role in his film Gripsholm, based on a novel by Kurt Tucholsky. 2007 she can be seen, on the German TV-channel ZDF, as the forensic pathologist Ewa in the TV-series "Der Kommissar und das Meer" (The Superintendent and the sea). In 2009, Nilsson was a celebrity contestant on K�ndisdjungeln.
