Kathie Browne (September 19, 1930 – April 8, 2003) was an American film and television actress. Born in San Luis Obispo, California as Jacqueline Katherine Browne she appeared in many films and TV shows such as Star Trek: The Original Series, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Ironside, My Favorite Martian, The Wild Wild West, Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, Sea Hunt, 77 Sunset Strip and Kolchak: The Night Stalker (with husband Darren McGavin). Browne appeared in such films as Murder by Contract (1958), Cinderfella (1960), and Brainstorm (1965).
A breast cancer survivor, Browne died of natural causes in 2003 in Beverly Hills, California, aged 72. She was survived by her husband, actor Darren McGavin.
