Milo Anthony Ventimiglia (born July 8, 1977) is an American television actor best known for his role of Peter Petrelli on the TV series Heroes. Ventimiglia was first noticed by fans during his three year stint on the WB series Gilmore Girls, playing Rory Gilmore's boyfriend Jess Mariano from 2001 until his final guest appearance in 2006.

Milo Anthony Ventimiglia (born July 8, 1977) is an American television actor best known for his role of Peter Petrelli on the TV series Heroes. Ventimiglia was first noticed by fans during his three year stint on the WB series Gilmore Girls, playing Rory Gilmore`s boyfriend Jess Mariano from 2001 until his final guest appearance in 2006. After his own WB series The Bedford Diaries, a recurring role as Meg Pryor`s love interest on NBC`s American Dreams, and playing Rocky Balboa`s son in the sixth and final installment of the Rocky series, Rocky Balboa, Ventimiglia`s big break came in 2006 when he received the part of nurse-turned-superhero Peter Petrelli on NBC`s Heroes. He was recently seen on the big screen in Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor`s 2009 film Gamer as Rick Rape. Filming of the fourth season of Heroes began June 8, 2009. Ventimiglia and fellow former Gilmore Girls co-star Alexis Bledel dated for three and a half years (approximately from December 2002); the relationship ended sometime before July 2006. In December 2007, it was widely reported that he was dating his Heroes co-star Hayden Panettiere, though Panettiere denied these reports in an interview with GQ. These reports continued through the early part of 2008, and several sources had reported that she asked Ventimiglia to move in with her. In April 2008, during an interview on the BBC`s The Chris Moyles Show to promote the second season of Heroes, Ventimiglia confirmed that he was dating Panettiere. They ended their relationship in February 2009. Ventimiglia is a lacto-vegetarian and does not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. He is a fan of seminal British punk band The Clash, and is an avid skateboard fan.
