Ra�l Gonz�lez Blanco (born 27 June 1977 in Madrid, Spain), known simply as Ra�l, is a Spanish footballer who plays as a striker. He currently plays for German club Schalke 04. Ra�l had spent most of his career playing for Spanish club Real Madrid up until 2010 and is the club's all-time top goalscorer. Ra�l is a three-time winner of the UEFA Champions League and has long been the competition's all-time leading goalscorer. He left Real Madrid on 25 July 2010, having scored 323 goals in 741 appearances.

He was born and grew up in a humble area of Madrid, He joined Real Madrid in season 1992/93 from the former Atl�tico Madrid lower teams, After a brilliant performance in the reserve teams, he stepped up to make his debut in the first team when he was 17 under Jorge Valdano's coaching. He has been in the starting lineup ever since. After seven seasons in the elite of Spanish football, he has become a key piece both in Real Madrid and in the national team, He has got wife mamen sanz. they got married on 1 july 1999, He has got 4 boys whit his wife mamen sanz. first Hugo born in 2003, then Jorge born in 2000. His third and fourth children with Mamen Sanz are twins called Mateo and H�ctor, were born on 17 November 2005
