Ryan Sypek was born on August 6, 1982 in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Wayland High School in 2000. While attending Boston University, Ryan spent a semester in London at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). He also received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Boston University. He also played Jack Hunter in "The Rose Tattoo" at the Huntington Theatre in Boston in 2002. Ryan started acting when he was in sixth grade. He is six feet tall and originally auditioned for the role of Matt Ritter on Wildfire, but was cast for Junior. He also performed in plays while at Boston University. Before getting his role on Wildfire, he worked for the famous Beverly Hills Hotel, parking cars. When he was young, he loved playing baseball. He is currently starring on the ABC Family Original TV Series Wildfire, portraying the role of Junior Davis. He will be portraying Sgt. Mills Evans in Major Movie Star, a handsome officer Megan (portrayed by Jessica Simpson) falls for. He will also guest on an episode of another popular ABC Family show, Greek, as a suitor for the lead character, Casey.
