Directed by Penny Marshall, the film stars Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Tom Hanks, Madonna and Rosie O'Donnell. The screenplay was written by Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel from a story by Kim Wilson and Kelly Candaele.
