Wikipedia Text
Behind Enemy Lines is a 2001 action and war film directed by John Moore, and starring Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson. The film is centered on the story of an American naval flight officer who was shot down over Bosnia and ends up uncovering a massacre during the Bosnian conflict. The plot itself is loosely based on the Mrkonjic Grad incident that occurred in 1995 amid the war. The film was followed by two direct-to-video sequels, Behind Enemy Lines II: Axis of Evil and Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia, which was co-produced by WWE Studios.
