Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas is a 2003 American animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation, using traditional 2D animation with some 3D. This is the last animated feature film to use the DreamWorks logo, due to failing to meet box office expectations and DreamWorks' decision that the American public would be more interested in computer animation. It covers the story of Sinbad (voiced by Brad Pitt), a pirate (whose character comes from Arabic roots, though the film is primarily Greek in nature), who travels the sea in typical Greek epic fashion on a quest to recover the lost Book of Peace from Eris (voiced by Michelle Pfeiffer), the Greek Goddess of Chaos, in order to save his childhood friend, Prince Proteus (voiced by Joseph Fiennes), from accepting Sinbad's death sentence.
